About Me
Hi! I'm Dr. Chris Wiese - An Assistant Professor of Industrial-Organizational Psychology at the Georgia Tech. I received my B.S. in Psychology and Management as well as my Ph.D. in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from the University of Central Florida (2015) working with Drs. Eduardo Salas, C. Shawn Burke, and Kimberly Smith-Jentsch. After completing my Ph.D., I was a post-doctoral fellow with a joint appointment at Purdue University and The University of Pennsylvania collaborating with Drs. Louis Tay and Angela Duckworth.
We'll talk about research on other pages. For some personal information, I was born and raised in Central Florida (one of the very few). I married the love of my live (Christine) right before graduate school and we have three amazing children (Liam, Emerson, and Willow). Cool fact: Each was born in a different state that we've lived in (Florida, Indiana, Georgia). We don't plan on moving again anytime soon! Outside of spending time with family, I enjoy most geeky things (comics, video games), nerdy things (sci-fi, fantasy novels), and sports (huge Cubs and Magic fan).
