Graduate Students

Yichen (Steve) Tang

Yichen is a Ph.D. candidate who joined The Foundation Lab in Fall 2019. He graduated from the College of Wooster with a double major in Psychology and Economics. He is interested in understanding team dynamics and ways to improve worker well-being. His overarching goal is to become a thought leader in the field of I-O psychology and build on the knowledge-base of scholars that came before him.

Yuhua (Andy) Li

Yuhua is a Ph.D. candidate who joined The Foundation Lab in Fall 2019. She graduated from Illinois College in May 2019 with a B.S. in both Psychology and Economics. Her research interest revolve around enhancing worker well-being through improving recovery experiences, work-life balance, prosocial behaviors in the workplace, and implementing personal- and organizational-level interventions.

Undergraduate Students

Taylor Allmen

Taylor is a psychology major with a concentration in business at Georgia Tech. Her research interests include work-family relations and the impacts of work-related stress. After graduation, she plans to pursue a masters in I/O Psychology and hope to work for a company in which she can help improve overall employee satisfaction and productivity.

Adhrija Anbuchelian

Adhrija Anbuchelian is a Psychology major at Georgia Tech and joined the Foundations Lab in the Fall of 2022. She is very passionate about neurodevelopmental psychology, specifically in children. Her passions have driven her interest in wanting to pursue a career in medicine, specifically psychiatry. Upon graduation, she aims to attend medical school where she will then study to become a pediatric developmental disabilities psychiatrist.

Alyssa Davenport

Alyssa Davenport is a Psychology major at Georgia Tech and joined the Foundation Lab in Fall 2021. She is very interested in researching how employee satisfaction can be increased. These topics include worker stress and wellbeing, job attitudes, and work-family relationships. After graduation, she plans on pursuing her PhD in either I/O Psychology or Forensic Psychology.

Eryn Earley

Eryn Earley is a Psychology major with a minor in Spanish and a concentration in Business at Georgia Tech. She joined the Foundation Lab in Fall 2022. Her research interests include worker well-being and mental health within the workplace. After graduation, she plans to pursue her Master’s in I/O Psychology

Heidi Hernandez

Heidi Hernandez is a Psychology major with a minor in Korean. She joined The Foundation Lab in Fall 2022. Though she is still exploring her interests, she has a strong passion for doing research and loves exploring what can be done to improve an individual's experience. After completing her bachelor's degree, she plans on attending graduate school to pursue a master's degree

Samira Hossain

Samira Hossain is a psychology major with a minor in health sciences at Georgia Tech. Her research interests lie in the healthcare setting and she is excited to study how to improve teamwork, resilience, and overall worker well-being in the medical field as well as other fields involving high stakes teams. After graduation, she plans on going to PA school and becoming a physician's assistant working either in the critical care or the neonatal department.

Grace Johnson

Grace Johnson is a Psychology major with a concentration in Business at Georgia Tech. She joined The Foundation Lab in August 2022. She is interested in researching work environments and how they affect family dynamics. She is working to become an Industrial Psychologist and help reform work environments in the corporate world.

Erin So Kim

Erin is a Neuroscience Major with an interest in Pre-med at Georgia Tech. Her research interests include getting a better understanding of how the mind works so that we can control the mind better to help our bodies. After graduating, she plans to obtain a Ph.D. in Neuroscience after pursuing an MD in the field of neurosurgery.

Hannah Lariscy

Hannah Lariscy is a Psychology major at Georgia Tech and joined the Foundation Lab in Fall 2022. Under her Psychology degree, she is concentrating in Business and hopes to pursue a career in Industrial-Organizational Psychology. She is interested in work-life balance and how the two domains are intertwined, as well as the overall psychological effects work has on an individual. After graduation, she plans to earn a MA or Ph.D. in I/O Psychology.

Alicia Nguyen

Alicia Nguyen is a psychology major with a minor in Health and Medical Sciences at Georgia Tech and joined the Foundation Lab in January 2021. Her research interests are in sociological changes resulting from the current pandemic and their effects on workplace productivity as well as adaptivity. She aspires to be either a pediatrician or family physician to be actively involved in maintaining the well-being of her community.

Dorothy (Gracie) Rehberg

Gracie Rehberg is a Psychology student at Georgia Tech and joined The Foundation Lab in Spring of 2020. Along with her Psychology degree, she is concentrating in business and pursuing a certificate in Leadership and Organizational change. Her research interests include teamwork, motivation, and how research findings can be applied to improving worker performance and well-being. After graduation, she plans to further her education by pursuing a graduate degree in I/O psychology and to continue to study how psychological theories can be applied to business and worker health.

Ana Peralta Rolka

Ana Peralta Rolka is a Psychology major at Georgia Tech and joined The Foundation Lab in Fall 2022. Her research focus is on studying the connection between spatial navigation anxiety and Alzheimer’s. Although undecided about the specialty, she plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Psychology.

Emily Sheffield

Emily Sheffield is a Psychology major at Georgia Tech and joined The Foundation Lab in Spring 2022. She is very interested in researching worker well-being and the effects of work-life balance and work motivation on performance. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a Ph.D. in I/O psychology and further the field through her work.

Caroline Shewmaker

Caroline Shewmaker is double majoring in Business Administration and Psychology at Georgia Tech. She joined The Foundation Lab in Spring 2021. Her research interest includes psychological health, specifically in relation to the workplace. She has a strong interest in I/O Psychology and hopes to apply research findings to those directly affected by commuting to work. After graduating, she hopes to pursue her Master's in Business Administration and earn her Ph.D. in I/O Psychology in the future.

Tam Truong

Tam Truong is a Computer Science student at Georgia Tech and joined The Foundation Lab in Fall 2022. His interests are User-Experience and Research. He is interested in researching the effects of stress and other factors on workers' well-being and teamwork to promote a better workplace supporting individuals in it. After graduating with a bachelor's, he is pursuing his Master's in Human-Computer Interaction.

Vicky Yu

Vicky Yu is a psychology major with a business concentration and a Spanish minor at Georgia Tech. Her research interests include the effect of work stressors on home life and how that, in turn, affects work performance and productivity, and also how teams are affected by outside factors. After graduation, she plans on working in HR to better evaluate and improve the livelihoods and satisfaction of coworkers.

Nikera Williams

Nikera Williams is a majoring in Psychology with a double minor in Health Science and Social Justice. She is interested in learning how recreational drugs adversely affect an individual's well-being in the workplace. After graduating, she plans on attending graduate school to pursue her master's in Clinical Psychology and obtaining a medical degree.

Jason Wu

Jason Wu is a Biomedical Engineering and Psychology dual major at Georgia Tech and joined The Foundation Lab in Fall 2021. His primary interest in research is in clinical psychology and what can affect a person’s mental health. His goal after graduation is to go to graduate school in order to earn a PhD in Clinical Psychology and begin practicing.
